Dr. Jonathan Potack received his undergraduate degree in history from Northwestern University and his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was Chief Fellow. After training, he joined the full time faculty at Mount Sinai where he served as Associate Program Director of the GI fellowship and Medical Director of the GI faculty practice. He has also worked in private practice for six years. He has extensive experience and expertise in the management of complicated Crohns disease and Ulcerative Colitis. In addition to board certifications in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, he is board certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine and has clinical interests in the medical management of obesity and fatty liver disease.
