Dr. Jamie A. Mullally is an Attending Physician in Endocrinology at WMCHealth Advanced Physician Services and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the New York Medical College. She received her undergraduate degree in Human Biology, Health, and Society at Cornell University and her Medical Degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. She went on to complete an Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and then received her training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, and Obesity Medicine. Dr. Mullally joined the faculty at NYMC in 2020. Previously, she was a faculty member at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons where she saw patients in the Division of Endocrinology and Weight Control Center.
In addition to the full spectrum of Endocrine disorders, Dr. Mullally has specialization in Obesity Medicine. She has expertise in providing evidence-based care and effective treatments for patients with metabolic and weight issues to improve their health and quality of life. She serves on the American Board of Obesity Medicine Maintenance of Certification Committee and WMC Hospital Nutrition Committee. She is also accomplished in research areas including obesity and type 2 diabetes and has been an invited speaker at local, regional, and national conferences.
Dr. Mullally also enjoys teaching and her academic responsibilities including educating medical students, Internal Medicine residents, and Endocrinology fellows.
