Dr. Laskowski is board-certified in both general and vascular surgery and specializes in the treatment of a broad spectrum of arterial and venous conditions.
He has extensive experience in endovascular interventions for complex aortic aneurysmal disease, peripheral vascular disease and in limb salvage surgery.
His interests also include management of carotid arterial occlusive disease, vascular dialysis access and various aspects of venous disease, including interventions for acute and chronic deep vein thrombosis and management of postphlebitic syndrome.
To ensure the best results for his patients, in his practice, Dr. Laskowski utilizes a wide range of therapies including advanced minimally invasive endovascular interventions for both arterial and venous conditions.
Dr. Laskowski is also a Medical Director of the Vascular Wound Healing Institute, which complements his wound care and limb salvage interests. He also holds RVT and RPVI certifications.
Dr. Laskowski completed his internship and residency in general surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University Medical and his vascular surgery fellowship at New York University Medical Center. He served as a research fellow at Harvard Medical School in transplant immunology and obtained a doctorate degree with distinction from Warsaw Medical University.
Dr. Laskowski is an assistant professor of surgery at the New York Medical College and the attending vascular surgeon at Westchester Medical Center. He is an author and co-author of number peer-reviewed publications, and has presented at numerous national and international conferences. He is actively involved in various clinical research projects being conducted at Westchester Medical Center.
