Mud Run Benefits Joel A. Halpern Regional Trauma Center and Burn Center
Hundreds of participants got muddy during The Evan Lieberman Westchester Medical Center Trauma Mud Run on June 25. Runners of all ages ran a 5k through the woods and conquered tire swings, cargo nets, a fire tower, a giant mud pit and more, all on Westchester Medical Center’s Valhalla campus.
The annual fundraiser benefits the Joel A. Halpern Regional Trauma Center and Burn Center. The Level I Trauma Center and Burn Care services offered by Westchester Medical Center are the only programs of their kind in the region and serve as a lifeline for the Hudson Valley’s most seriously burned and injured residents.
