Mountainside Residential Care Center, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), enjoys a well-deserved reputation for its quality, skilled nursing. Now, the news is spreading farther than ever: In April, the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHA) bestowed its highest leadership honor on the Margaretville, NY, facility.
The 2017 ACHA Eli Pick Leadership Award, given to only about nine percent of nursing homes in the U.S., signifies excellence well beyond the College’s Five-Star rating system. The inspections’ findings are in keeping with the 82-bed facility’s dedication to person-centered care, as well as the entire WMCHealth Network’s focus on patient satisfaction.
