HLAA Westchester/Rockland Walk for Hearing May 2022

The Westchester Medical Center Cochlear Implant Center Team attended the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) annual Walk for Hearing at Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park in Yorktown Heights, NY, in May. This was the first live event in three years and was a wonderful day to reconnect with friends, meet new people and support the worthy cause of HLAA. The WMC Cochlear Implant Center was a gold sponsor of the Walk and we were proud to part of this wonderful annual fundraiser event. We were particularly excited to see so many of our patients at the event.

Our team also raised $3,200 for the event with 40 percent of those funds directed back to our center for patient support. We would like to give a special shout out to the Neville family who were the champions of our fundraising effort.
