On March 20th, 2019, the Westchester Medical Center (WMC) Division of Trauma sponsored a Roadside to Bedside Event that brought together professionals from our EMT community, nursing staff, physicians, surgeons, and patient-care providers to learn about topics related to caring for geriatric patients, management and pre-hospital care of traumatic brain injury patients, management of the difficult airway, and efforts of the "Stop the Bleed" initiative. Guest speakers presented on these topics and provided Continuing Medical Education credits to all Emergency Medical Staff who attended. Two trauma survivors, Sean Dunn and Brian Moriarty, shared their personal stories of survival and recovery with the attendees.
