WMCHealth Physicians Rheumatology
The Division of Rheumatology is composed of board-certified rheumatologists who are experts in diagnosing and treating a wide array of autoimmune and musculoskeletal diseases. Our mission is to provide exceptional patient care that places equal importance on advanced medical expertise, shared decision-making, and compassionate care for the whole patient.
In addition to outpatient services, our rheumatologists are available full-time for inpatient consultations at Westchester Medical Center, an academic hospital providing tertiary and quaternary medical services.
On-Site Infusion Center
Biologic therapies have transformed the lives of patients with many chronic rheumatologic conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and lupus. With an on-site infusion center available, our team is able to prescribe the full scope of biologic and immunosuppressive therapies currently available.
Training the Next Generation of Rheumatologists
The Division of Rheumatology has a dedicated role in teaching the next generation of medical professionals. As full-time faculty at New York Medical College, our rheumatologists regularly provide traditional didactics as well as bedside teaching for medical students and residents. The division also leads a fellowship program for advanced medical trainees seeking further expertise in the field of rheumatology.
Through integration of the above clinical and academic activities, the division is ideally situated to continue to improve the lives of patients well into the future.
