How do I apply for a position at Westchester Medical Center?
Although interested candidates can apply several ways, candidates are encouraged to apply via our online system:

  • ONLINE: Your application/resume is automatically routed to the appropriate recruiter in Human Resources who reviews applications daily. You will also have the opportunity to upload your resume.
  • FAX: You can fax your resume to (914) 493-8637.
  • MAIL: You can submit your resume by mail to: Westchester Medical Center, Human Resources Dept., 19 Bradhurst Ave., Suite 3080N, Hawthorne, NY 10532
  • HAND DELIVER to us at the address above. The Human Resources office accepts applications Monday thru Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding holidays. Applications are also available at our reception desk during those times.

How do I know what positions are currently available at Westchester Medical Center?
From the Explore Career Opportunities page, you can search for specific job vacancies by area of interest and/or keywords by selecting your criteria and clicking search. You can also search all available job postings.

How will I know that my application /resume has been received?
All applicants who apply online will receive an email notification that their resume has been successfully submitted. If you apply by one of the other methods, there is no notification system. Therefore, we encourage you to apply online.

What should I expect after I apply for a position?
Applicants are screened by the Human Resources staff after submission. Because of the large number of applications we receive, we only contact candidates who best match the requirements of the position. In the event you are not contacted, your resume will remain active for searches in our database for consideration for other job opportunities for one year.

Can I apply for more than one position at a time?
There is no limit to the number of positions for which you can apply.

What should I do if I do not see the position I am looking for?
If you are unable to find a position that matches your qualifications and experience, you may submit your resume. Resumes of candidates become part of our database for future consideration and are reviewed as positions become available.

Where can I find salary information for open positions?
Salary information is not provided as part of the online job postings. The Human Resources Department will provide this information during the selection process.

I previously applied online and have forgotten my password, what do I do?
Go to the Explore Career Opportunities link on the Careers webpage. On the top of the page click on "Login" and follow instructions for forgotten password.
